Project Summary
Learning with Vodafone is a digital education initiative being implemented by Pratham Education

Foundation and funded by Vodafone India Foundation and Indus Towers Ltd. The programme is an

innovative teacher-centric technological intervention which is currently working in 1,020 schools across 8

states with the aim of enhancing the learning levels of students in low income schools by introduction of

technology and group learning pedagogies in classrooms. In the coming academic year (2018-19),

Learning with Vodafone will be scaling up and reaching out to schools with hardware and provide them

with content for classes 6-8 for mathematics and science. The teachers will also be given access to a

teacher portal with pedagogy related course, online digital content and chance to network with other

teachers. This will provide them with an opportunity to implement group learning pedagogies in their

classrooms and integrate technology as well.

Teacher Coach - Job Description
The teacher coach will be responsible for assisting and supporting the teachers across the country through

telephonic calls and social platform support. The incumbent will provide pedagogical and classroom

management related support. The teacher coach will be allocated select number of teachers for calling on a

daily basis.

Roles and Responsibilities
Managing large amount of outbound calls in a timely manner 

Build sustainable relationships and engage with the teachers through different ways of social media

platform 

Identify teacher’s pedagogical needs, clarify information, tackle issues during calls and provide

solutions 

Record and analyze all monitoring information within the teacher support software 

Supporting the programme team with other tasks as required

Qualifications and Experience and Skills
 Graduate in any relevant field. Candidates with qualifications like B.Ed., M.Ed., MSW will be

preferred 

Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Hindi) 

Self-directed and able to work without supervision 

Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

Working Details and Remuneration
 Remuneration will be monthly gross of Rs. 18,085/- 

The incumbent will be based in New Delhi and may have to travel on field visits 

The working hours will be from 12Noon to 8:00pm on a daily basis
