Job Description

  • You will drive the monthly demand planning process and finalize the consensus demand plan. You will
review the current forecasting processes and systems, and identify opportunities to improve Demand
Plan accuracy across the tactical and strategic horizons.
  • You shall drive S&OP process rigor and enhance the South Asia S&OP platform to proactively identify and
address demand and capacity trends, and manage a seamless planning and collaboration mechanism to
lead discussions with different functional stakeholders to enable efficient solutions.
  • You will proactively identify demand trends, significant changes to forecast and gaps between the
financial and volumetric forecast. Lead discussions with business process owners, provide guidance and
seek consensus on action plans to address forecast gaps.
  • You shall lead the Annual Planning exercise for the South Asia Supply Chain function by:
o Enhancing the established work practices
o Coordinate with the South Asia Pacific & Sub-Saharan Africa Regional S&OP manager to align
with plans at the regional level

  • You will be responsible for selecting most efficient network to service customer demand. This will include
optimization of local assets, improvement in customer service and efficient inter-company sourcing.
  • You will also be responsible for finalizing and regular review of various planning parameters for different
supply chain planning modules. You will provide direction for improvements in planning systems and
implement the same to derive benefits.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring smooth and successful new product introductions and product
changeovers.
  • You will also be responsible for supply chain performance management. You will develop/maintain such
performance systems as would be necessary to measure and improve the supply chain.
  • You will provide guidance and support for Inventory Optimization and management.
  • You will be responsible to drive technology oriented improvements in Supply Chain processes
  • You will be responsible to drive coordination and collaboration with other functions particularly through
the Product Line Technology (PLT) platform.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in supply chain management, preferably from IIM/ NITIE/ SP Jain or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning/operations. Should have led S&OP meeting.
  • Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution.
  • Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
  • Excellent organizational & people skills, project management skills, with an
ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as
Microsoft Office and function specific tools and software
