Job Description: Project/Implementation Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
ü Participate in effort estimation, requirement gathering and propose solution designs in new and existing projects or services.
ü Coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and communicate status to Engagement Managers, Senior Management and other stakeholders as needed.
ü Ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements meeting timelines and budget requirements.
ü Responsible for scope management, resource management, change management, estimating impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) as well as managing project resources.
ü Responsible for risk identification, detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations.
ü Responsible for utilizing (and creating) documents/deliverables necessary for providing exceptional services and ensuring communication of the project plan to the Engagement Manager and/or client.
ü Create new deliverables/best practices for implementation services to enhance implementation engagements. Must be able to create new deliverables or follow standards of deliverables already in place.
ü Responsible for creating design documents, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or other documents as required for all ongoing business and transitioning the project to the Operation Support team.
ü Troubleshoot issues related to AD such as replications, GPO deployment and troubleshooting.
ü Vendor Management (hardware and Software vendors HP, Dell, MS, VM, Citrix and others).
ü Act as a point of escalation for high severity issues, outages, lead calls to resolution.
ü Document and provide RCA for all high severity incidents, outages and recurring issues.
ü Review existing infrastructure and lead continuous improvement from a technology perspective.
ü Act as technical mentor to L1/L2 team members and conduct KT session to upskill and cross skill.
ü Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
ü Project Management skills (Initiation, Scoping, Implementation, Risk)
ü Strong project implementation background in especially in Wintel and storage areas.
ü Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consulting skills.
ü Ability to independently lead and guide teams of technical resources for projects.
ü Should be willing to work in shifts as required by project.
ü Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience preferred.
ü Solid operational understanding and strong technical knowledge on Server hardware, Server OS including 2008, 2012, 2016, virtualization such as Hyper V and VMware, Backup, Active Directory.
ü ITIL certification would be an added advantage.
ü Regular degree/diploma in Information Technology, B.E, B. Tech, BCA / MCA, BSCIT (would be given preference)
ü An industry standard technical or professional qualification such as MCITP Enterprise administrator, VCP, VCAP-DCV, MCSE, TOGAF.
ü Minimum 3 years in a similar role
ü Experience managing VMware environments, Windows 2008/2012 R2 Server, Active Directory, EMC SAN, NAS.
ü 7 to 10 in year in industry
ü 5 years’ experience in Server and Storage verticals.
ü 5 years’ experience in Project Implementation
