Head of Channel Sales, Google Customer Solutions

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.

12 years of experience in sales, with 5 years of experience managing sales teams.

Business development experience in emerging technology industries and experience managing product implementation projects.

Experience working with C-level executives and Board members.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA or equivalent practical experience

Deep channel management experience. Ability to motivate partners to achieve mutually agreed upon business growth, product, and customer goals.

Experience working with or for eCommerce, Ad Tech, marketing automation and/or local advertising companies.

Experience working with small and medium sized businesses, from a Sales, Marketing and product design perspective.

Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle from enterprise software class products.

Ability to translate partner and customer product requirements into the partners’ solution stack by working closely with product management and engineering teams.

As a Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Sales professional, you help set the long-term strategy for the India Channel Sales business, and hold your teams accountable for executing on that strategy. In this role, you will also help formulate the APAC and India country strategy, and lead the India Channel Sales team to achieve its annual plans.

As Head of India Channel Sales, you will bring a vision for how Google can positively impact the India Small- and Medium-sized Business (SMB) ecosystem and build a large and fast growing Channel Partner Businesses . You have strong business acumen, deep understanding of Googles' ad products and the technical skills to build partnerships with India's leading technology companies.

In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses. Responsibilities

Work with the Channel Sales team to create annual plans, achieve targets, and track quarterly performance. Manage product integration process with tech platform partners, along with implementation milestones and resource requirements, ensuring on time market launches with high quality solutions.

Lead strategic partner managers, helping them achieve quarterly quota and growth targets.

Lead a cross-functional team of partner managers, business development, and account managers. Liaise with the team who support our business, including Sales Finance, Sales Operations, SMB Marketing.

Represent Google as a keynote speaker at industry events, strengthening Google’s brand and identifying prospective partners at industry events.

Join the extended India GCS and APAC Customer Solutions management team, alongside leaders from GCS Sales, Acquisitions, Marketing and Customer Experience and ensure regular interaction with APAC Channel Sales country managers.
