Area Sales Manager

Job Descriptoin

Position Purpose:

Lead and support the execution of Area sales plan for 1-12 months. Dealer liaisoning on Area basis.
Manage and develop Sales team in the Area to achieve current and future sales plans.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Primary & Secondary Sale- Plan and implement the Area business plan (including forecasting, and sales volume achievement).
  • Focus on big feeders (50-300 milking cows). Monitors a prospect list of feeders and holds the SO accountable
  • Coaches, trouble shoots, problem solves with the SO's.
  • Monitor and support front line professionals for effective performance and development.
  • Organize area business meets and D-days.
  • Analyze and channelize market feedback and recommend action plan with Sales Leader.
  • Organize and coordinate swift trouble shooting on product quality related issues/ Farm related activities with help of TSM.
  • Track competitors' business, liaise and maintain relationship with competitors' distribution channel.
  • Administration of dealer’s schemes.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Graduate
  • 5-10 years sales experience Industry/technical knowledge
  • Analytical and written and oral communication.
  • Gurmukhi (Punjabi) proficient.
  • People management/development. Planning, execution.

  • PG in Mktg/Sales management
